During the 2016-2017 NFL playoffs, Schum punted in three games: the Wild Card, Divisional, and NFC Championship rounds. Game-by-game punting averages were: NFC Wild Card (vs. Giants): 42.0 yard average NFC Divisional (at Cowboys): 54.7 yard average NFC Championship (at Falcons): 54.0 yard average. Jake maintained a postseason average of 47.6 yards per punt.
